Yellow Cab Pizza, Outside Lot 10, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur

Yellow Cab Pizza

Many people has been telling us to try out Yellow Cab’s pizza in Bukit Bintang, so we had the opportunity to when we went for an early dinner a big bunch of our friends. You will greeted outside of Yellow cab with many bright yellow scooters with the Yellow Cab Pizza sign board. It kinda gives the New York Pizza take away feel to this place.

I love their bright yellow pizza boxes. They serve their pizza’s in these boxes, even though you are eating at the restaurant, which I personally feel that they shouldn’t in view of preserving mother nature. But it’s bright colours on the eyes does play a role on your tastebuds cause you know that there’s something really good waiting for your inside.

To start we had the ‘small’ 10” # 4 Cheese Pizza. In the menu it reads ‘Cheese Heaven’ and I have to agree. It’s just pure cheese layered onto the pizza. It has Mozzarella, Cheddar, Romano and Feta.

The Tribeca Mushroom pizza was a hit with most of the girls for some odd reason. Those who have the love for anything mushroomy (like me!) would love this pizza. It’s topped with Shitake, Button and Oyster Mushroom and smothered with melted cheese. Awesome!

Then there was the Roasted Garlic & Shrimp Pizza which as it’s name said had a slight tinge or garlic to it. This was the medium size pizza which is 14” . You can’t really tell from the picture but it’s as big as a normal Large pizza (if not bigger) than what we normally get from Pizza hut and Dominos. Lined with Shrimp, Onion and of course roasted garlic in butter sauce.

Then came our LARGE pizzas, 18” in diameter , and I thought the medium was big. You can see from above, how the pizza box itself is comparison in size with some of our hands, and even our plates. It’s humongous!

We had the Hawaiian Pizza in LARGE which came with Chicken Toast, which is pretty much chicken ham, beef brisket and of course nothing completes a Hawaiian pizza without pineapples. Not to mention that it too was smothered in melted cheese.

Just look at the size of that slice of pizza!! I bet ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ ordered their pizza from Yellow cab..haha. It just reminds me of that cartoon somehow where the pizzas are like dropping downwards cause it’s just too laden with cheese and the other various topings. As our friends say, you can use the pizza to ‘slap’ someone in the face..

We also of course tried their New York’s Finest, I mean how could you not right. This was one of the most ‘colourful’ pizzas among the lot. It had Italian beef sausages, chicken toast, beef pepperoni, beef brisket, ground beef, black olives, mushrooms, onions, red and green peppers and not to mention, smothered in cheese as well. Gorgeous looking piece of pizza, tasted pretty good as well.

Yellow cab pizza’s definitely reign supreme in size. Their ginormous size simply means that you should always make sure you have a friend with you when you come here to eat or just starve yourself the whole day to make space for it. The pizza’s itself were good, though some were so smothered in cheese that after eating so much it all tasted the same. But it was a good experience eating here, especially if you have great company Smile

Oh and need I mention they also do delivery? hehe. Enjoy!!
