Otak- Otak Place, Tropicana City Mall, Petaling Jaya
After walking around Tropicana city, we decided to stop at the Otak – Otak Place for lunch. We were looking for something local, and reasonably price, hence we ended up here.
We were welcomed into the restaurant with songs of the late Theresa Ting playing in the background and also a old video of P. Ramlee playing on the old tv set in front of the counter. For the 60s babies, I’m sure this place will bring back lots of memories. With walls lined with old soda bottles from the past, and even jars of ‘guli’ marble, plastic toy soldiers, the rubber band skipping ropes, this really makes you reminisce of the good ol’ days. They even have an old antique bicycle propped up from the ceiling. (more…)
