This is a decent Italian restaurant with rather affordable prices. Pizzeria Bella Italia makes some good pizzas in this suburb that is packed with all sorts of restaurants. It is a simple restaurant with friendly service which attracts quite a few of the local crowd.

Pizzeria Bella Italia
We started off with mushroom soup, which you can’t go wrong with (especially since you don’t get the canned stuff) as well as the bruschetta which had toppings of chopped tomatoes and some olives.

Something different to try would be their Funghi I Carozza (RM16.80) which is their mushrooms fried with batter. This is a dish that you should savour when its hot so that you get the crunch.

Next up is the Seafood lasagna (RM21.80). The pastry was slightly tough (I prefer mine softer), but they were generous in covering with loads and loads of cheese.

Seafood Lasagna
Of course, with the name Pizzeria Bella Italia, we had to try the pizzas. True to its name, the pizzas were the highlight of the night. If you like the breaded-type of crusts, then the pizzas with the combination of fresh ingredients make for a satisfying meal.

Hawaiian Pizza
The Risotto Pollo tasted fine, but after a while we noticed that it had something missing; chicken! It had a lot more mushrooms than chicken in the dish.

For dessert, we shared a tiramisu.

I haven’t been there myself but I always see it when I drive past SS2. Looks really really old…

They dont even use risotto, should be sued for false advertising, pizza used regular cheap sausages, mushroom soup tasted ok but lacked mushrooms, if they use regular rice, they should inform customers. They are no where near italian, another con job
