We stumbled upon this little cafe while wandering around Jonkers street looking for brunch. This quaint little cafe is nicely accomodated in the old shop houses lining the road. We were drawned to it because it had a very unique artsy feel . It had a bar with where they served everything from teas, fruit shakes to beer. Its walls were lined with aroma burners and little decorative arts for sale.

They had a couple of chandeliers and little mirrors stringed together that they hung from the ceiling above. Lots of paintings and pictures lined the walls, mostly done by local artists. Very inspiring. How could you say no to a place like that? An urban chic cafe in the middle of the most historic town in Malaysia?

So inside we headed and grabbed a seat at the back of the cafe. The menu served was a western based menu , with sandwhiches, foccacia bread and pastas. The price? Well, for someone from KL, lets just say the prices were reasonable. The price ranges from RM6.90 to RM15.90 for a main meal. Not too bad.

No wall was left untouched, all decorated artistically.

We ordered , Banana Pancakes (RM6.90) and a dragonfruit + lychee fruit shake (RM9.90) to share. Another interesting thing about this place is that they have really cool combinations of fruit shakes and also a few cool sandwhiches like mango and chicken foccasia or dragonfruit and chicken sandwhich. Interesting..

Our fruit shake (dragonfruit + lychee + Milk + Ice Cream) came in a big glass, oozing with thick pink, creamy goodness. A deliciously refreshing combination with the two fruits complementing each other well. Not to mentioned it helped us get over the heat stroke we had from the heat outside.

Our banana pancakes came with a generous serve of bananas layered on our pancakes and two huge scoops of vanilla ice cream. Not bad for the price we paid. Enjoyed every bite knowing that it will help fuel us for the rest of our exploration of the town.

Good place , good service will definitely be back for more!! Those who are visiting Jonker street, be sure to check this place out.

It’s my favorite chill out place when in Melaka! This and the Cheng Ho teahouse. I highly recommend them.
