We dropped by this place while on our way to Penang. It was packed hence we sensed that it must be good. People actually stop their cars and wind down their windows to order. It like a Malaysian version of a drive through. Others just sat along the five foot way eating their bowls of Tau Fu Fah.

Mmm Tau Fu fah..

Mmm Tau Fu fah..

The Tau Fu Fah was very smooth, and tasted a bit different from the KL I dont’ know how to describe it. It tasted as if it was fresh, no preservative, pure tau fu fah if there’s such a thing. We really enjoyed it.

Next time if you are in Ipoh, drop by their stall.

49, Jalan Theatre,

30300 Ipoh, Perak.

i love cold tau fu fah with the thick brown sugar syrup! i used to buy a container back home, wait for it to cool down, chuck it in the fridge then get it out, scoop the excess water then i’ll have it for breakfast the next day.

Kevin: Oh really? I we didn’t realize that… even with preservatives it still tasted less like chemicals than some of the tau fu fa I get near my house in PJ…

Alexis: Me too, I prefer it cold than having it hot. I guess it’s just personal preference. I think it’s because when eaten cold, it’s more like a sweet dessert?

oh yes! anythin eaten cold and sweet will automatically turn into dessert for me! :P even for banana, if u put it in the freezer with a stick – like a skewer that will act like a cold dessert as well :)
