Email Interview With Two Super Heroes

We recently had the pleasure of interviewing a superhero, food blogging, tag-team couple at toosuperheroes.blogspot.com

1) Can you give us an introduction of yourself, when and how you started out and what made you love food so much to start a blog about it?

We are two superheroes with abnormal capacity and desire for food, travelling places and enjoying the best life has to offer…Well, more than a year ago, ‘A Tale of Two Superheroes’ started out as a sort of chronicles of our lives as a couple of superheroes. So yeah, we never actually intended for it to start out as a food blog. It was only when we discovered that food seems to be a dominant ‘figure’ in our lives as we simply can never seem to say NO to food, that we felt that we should showcase the many memorable foodie figures we’ve tasted. And besides, it’s FOOD, glorious food! Haha.

2) Your site is relatively new to the food blogging scene, just like ours. What is the greatest challenge you face in growing it and getting the word out about your blog?

Well, we don’t really make an effort out of promoting our food blog, because we prefer taking ‘A Tale of Two Superheroes’ on a slow and easy ride as our journal to commemorate the good and (the bad!) food that we’ve tasted thus far in our lives. Perhaps then on one fine day many many years from now…we could actually sit down and literally browse through Superhero S’ many food experiments and laugh about them, or rub our belly and drool at the many delicious food we’ve tasted!

3) What is it about your website that you are most proud of?

The fact that we’ve made soooooo many friends through it! It’s amazing how a simple food blog can actually find its way into so many people’s lives… and we’re most thankful for the beautiful friendships we’ve made throughout the time our tales began right through to this very moment.

4) What is your favourite food of all time?

Wow…omg…this is so difficult to answer. *sweats* Haha.

Hmm…we would probably go with Sushi Zanmai’s many Japanese foodie selection! Haha…we’re soooooo crazy about them, we’d usually fly over there quite a few times in a month. But when we’re back home to Superhero S’ hometown in Malacca, we never fail to wallop the chicky rice balls too….! and the yong tau foo, and wait…back in KL, there’s always our favourite Malay economy rice at Padang, Serdang…and oh..there’s also the sinful KFC and Domino pizza… Haha. You see, we can never list down a favourite. :p

5) Currently, what is the one tip about food blogging you would give to new food bloggers?

Always remember to eat… EAT….and EAT!

6) What do you think about the food culture we currently have in Malaysia?

It’s always a food heaven here in Malaysia. We celebrate literally every single occasion with food! Oh, food….how can we live without you?? Haha.

7) Your final thoughts about food you’d like to share with the Feedmelah.com readers?

Well, blogging about food has turned Superhero S into a cooking machine. Haha. And Superhero W as the super eating machine. And for the sake of our readers, we’ve even made silent sacrifices to our pocket to explore the many different kinds of wonderfully delicious foodie out there. So, yeah…food will always be a huge part of the two superheroes’ lives. Because it brought them so many beautiful memories, and so many fulfilling meals! *grins*
