This week, we head into the deeper part of Ampang for Yong Tau Foo, and we ended up here at Ampang Homeland Yong Tau Foo.
Here, we ordered a mix of yong tau foo. Each person has their own dipping dish of sweet brown sauce and a spicy sauce. I am a big fan of the bittergourd and fish paste and always must have it when I go for yong tau foo.
Posted up on the wall was a tempting picture of their pandan wrapped chicken wings. It was not too bad, but nothing particularly to shout about.
To mix things up, we also ordered a plate of pork with preserved vegetables. A simple dish that goes well with a bowl of steamed rice.
Along this stretch, there were quite a few other Yong Tau Foo shops which we will have to go and explore next time!
