A Geek and His Food

Although we don’t celebrate thanksgiving in Malaysia, it’s a huge thing over in America. People go all out to throw huge thanksgiving celebrations where they serve up monstrous servings of turkey and other meats and vegetables.

But one guy decided to come up with something different. It must be the geek in me that finds this so interesting. I present to you the 20 sided pecan pie, or the module pie-cosahedron as the inventors call it.

A favourite of the characters from Star Trek.

And it can all be done in 7 easy steps! [Serious Eats via Instructables]

superheroes: yeap, it’s food alright. Imaigne making a 20 sided gigantic kuih. It’d be the same thing I reckon…

Edrei: omg I AM a geek. I actually understood what you meant. haha… I think the board would be too small for this die and it’d be seriously messy after each game.
