[Recipes]
One of my favorite cakes to bake will definitely be apple cake. Its an old recipe I found in my mum’s drawer where all the recipe books are kept, and it was so simple to do, I just had to try it. And there’s not turning back since.
Ingredients
120g Plain flour
120g Caster sugar
120g Melted butter
2 large apples ( Depends on how appley you want your cake to be)
2 tsps Baking powder
2 eggs
Pinch of salt
Here’s how you do it.
Instructions
1. Peel, core and dice apples into bite size chunks.
2. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into the baking bowl.
3. Beat the 2 eggs and add them in too then STIR.
4. After that add in the melted butter and STIR some more.
5. Followed by the dice apples, keep STIRRING.
6. Grease a cake tin and pour the batter in and chuck it into the oven at 180C for 35mins (until golden brown) and you are ready to serve.
Recommendations : Eat while hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
