You are definitely not a Penangite cos we do not eat our Hokkien Mee with belachan in it!!! This is a horrendous comment besides those remarks you made about the owners and their cuisine. Don’t be assumptous and judgemental when you are not sure about what you are consuming and it is also discerning to learn that you can criticise someone who has not done any harm to you. Look at yourself first before passing judgement on others!

I agree with you Vincent. No one has ever commented someting so bad to The Wok… I would like to share some of my view too.

I have been there almost everytime and had tried most of the dishes and me and my friends find it very nice and ever since then my friends keep recommending their friends and family to the place too.

If the place food isn’t that good, why would people recommend to others ??

My point is , The Wok is worth going for to those who likes to eat good food.

From the sound of this PETALS.It seems are you a competitor or biased of someone?

I just came back from The Wok.This Mr Robert you were mentioning gave our family a Big bowl of Kiam Chye Boey and Free Desserts.Even chat with my parents and we were happy.It doesnt sound like what you were saying.The food was very delicious and the only cook is his son Mervyn and he even entertained us with some of his not on the menu dishes.

About the Prawn Mee I think you not a Penang Prawn Mee lover cause only a person who doesn’t know how to eat only put BELACAN in Prawn Mee.I still fair this restaurant better than any Nyonya restaurant in PJ as I used to be 1 of Ah Tuan Ee’s and Mum’s Place customer and now I know where to get my good at The Wok

.Your only visit this place for 3 times in a month.But our family has visited this place 3 times in a week every week since the 1st day it opens.Sometimes during busy period the service is a little slow but maybe lack of staff as it is still new.It does happen to anyplace and anywhere.

Are you promoting Tanjung Bungah Fishead Curry? I’m from Tanjung Bungah too and I never heard of any of the shop before even I grow up at Vale Of Tempe Tanjung Bungah and recently move to KL.Hot Wok has been in the market for 15 years when I was still a kid.My parents used to bring me to the little small shop next to Island Plaza.They still maintain it till today.
