Kedai Kopi Weng Hing, Hokkien Mee in Imbi

A little corner shop along Jalan Imbi is well-known for its Pork Ball Noodles during the day. However, at night, they serve delicious KL-style Hokkien Mee (Noodles). This is one of my favourite places for Hokkien Mee and has been for years as it has been for my dad and relatives.
A plate of Hokkien Mee for two persons would be RM12 and is served with prawns, pork meat and cracklings, fish cakes, cabbage and squid. My typical preference would be to have a mix of the thick Hokkien Mee and Mee Hoon (Fried Vermicelli). For the many years that I have frequented this stall, the Hokkien Mee always delivers a consistent standard and is definitely satisfying.

Although it doesnt look impressive but I am sure it taste nice. I am also a hokkien mee lover.

That’s what good food in Malaysia is usually like… doesn’t look as good as you’d think it would…
But then it tastes like magic.
