The Photo Shoot
With the new development of our website, Feedmelah.com, we have decided to make it more personal. With this in mind, we thought ‘why not have our faces on the website’. But, rather than just pasting boring passport-like photographs of ourselves, we spent time brainstorming on how we could
make it more interesting. The collage of portraits would have to be fun and yet be meaningful. After much time spent at a kopitiam with half-boiled eggs, kaya toast, and coffee, we concluded that a catchy tagline and fun pictures would convey the message of our love for food.
We decided to take a twist on the phrase “See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil” by providing a website that would cater to all that are lost when it comes to searching for food. With that, our theme is:
“See No Food, Speak No Food, Hear No Food? Then come to Feedmelah.com”
Next, we needed an empty canvas to paint our portraits (or in our case, a white wall)
and a DSLR.
The day was hot, but we were determined to get the right shot, even if that meant total frustration at how the shots turned out.
Making sure that we used the right camera for the job (get it right Steve), we tested different poses and worked at it till we got it just right (eventually).
Signs of Frustration
Besides ourselves, we also need some help from a selected range of temptations, which included some unhealthy, yet satisfying treats.
The Three Deadly Sins
We experimented with a range of different ideas, from a burger-headed monster
to the confusion of having too many choices
but in the end, we gave in to temptation.
