Like an epic in One Thousand and One Night, a dining experience at Laziz Restaurant is more than a mystical journey for the lovers of middle eastern cuisine. Simply ‘delicious’, just like the name Laziz translates from Arabic language; the restaurant features a fusion of delightful intercontinental cuisine that is truly irresistible! Upon entering, the dining experience is made welcome from the subdued brown to sand appeal décor. Indulge in the desert like ambience as the vintage copper Arabic lightings illuminates the room for the definite mystical...
Yellow Cab Pizza, Outside Lot 10, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur
By Sue Ann at April 23, 2011 | 11:30 pm | 4 Comments
Many people has been telling us to try out Yellow Cab’s pizza in Bukit Bintang, so we had the opportunity to when we went for an early dinner a big bunch of our friends. You will greeted outside of Yellow cab with many bright yellow scooters with the Yellow Cab Pizza sign board. It kinda gives the New York Pizza take away feel to this place. I love their bright yellow pizza boxes. They serve their pizza’s in these boxes, even though you are eating at the restaurant, which I personally feel that they shouldn’t in view of preserving mother nature. But...

Famous Putu Piring, Jalan Tengkera, Malacca
By Sue Ann at April 17, 2011 | 12:06 am | 0 Comment
Recently when I went back to Malacca I had a strong craving for the famous Putu Piring along Jalan Tengkera. This putu piring stall has been around ever since I can remember and there is always, always a line of people waiting. This a family owned business and they operate from their own house along Jalan Tengkera. Its a comforting sight being there waiting in line and watching how they make the putu piring. It looks like a simple process, first put flour then the gula malacca and then more flour to cover it, place it in the steamer and after awhile take...

The Deli, MiCasa All Suite Hotel Kuala Lumpur
By Sue Ann at April 9, 2011 | 6:09 pm | 1 Comments
The Deli is situated in Mi Casa All Suite Hotel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur along Jalan Ampang. Who would have thought to find a quaint little ‘Deli’ in the middle of the city in a suite hotel? We certainly didn’t. We were invited to this place for a review by our friend April Yim. Thanks babe. We were greeted by the menu on the wall and instantly our mouth started to water on the good food that will await us. The Deli is exactly like its name, a little deli cafe set aside in the hotel with bain maries and little quaint tables to sit...
